In the world of technology marketing, we are all trying to tell the story. Not always easy to turn complex notions into interesting stories despite access to the world’s best marketers. So, turning this on it’s head, it’s equally difficult for artists to tell some of the world’s most interesting and poignant stories – as they lack the marketing expertise and in some cases, the courage – afraid to toot their own horn.
So as I make the transition to the next chapter, I am going to try to share some of this marketing love with my artist colleagues. It’s a little about “language” and a lot about creating a new comfort zone around many old ideas and new tactics.
This talk was held on March 26th at the Marblehead Arts Association. You can see it here on Slide Share.
