Business Growth Challenge
Great Island Design approached MarketingRecon on behalf of a client in the financial services sector. Great Island provides a full suite of marketing assets for the client, but needed to engage additional resources to focus on the long term business growth strategy. The client faced an eventual demographic transformation of its client base and wanted to be prepared to target and segment new business prospects.
Deliverables and Results
Together with Great Island, MarketingRecon assessed the client’s situation with the goal of taking advantage of the work already done around Personas. Using the Personas as the generic targeted prospect, MarketingRecon led a two-part workshop. The first half focused on prioritizing various tactical marketing programs that would be appropriate for the NEW prospects’ groups. The second half leveraged the PowerSkills Relationship Management framework to identify opportunities to expand current relationships.
Our session with Marketing Recon provided an opportunity for my client to make important connections between persona-focused marketing efforts and persona-focused sales strategies.
This client has frequent conversations with their constituents and prospects. They have intimate knowledge about their clients’ preferences and behaviors. Marketing Recon provided the opportunity to get the whole team talking and listening, and hopefully, unlocking potential growth.
