Business Growth Challenge
Linkage has an impressive global presence with offices around the world and clients across the Fortune 1000. Its Boston headquarters puts Linkage at the center of tremendous growth and transformation across tech, bio-tech, healthcare, and financial services – sectors that are ripe for higher awareness and programs in Diversity and Inclusion. The challenge was expanding exposure to Linkage’s latest research in advancing women in leadership. Through this effort, the goals would be to demonstrate that Linkage can and should lead this conversation based on its long history and research in this space. The program would strike the balance between thought leadership, marketing, and business development in advance of Linkage’s Women in Leadership Institute™ and a model for executing similar programs in other geographies.
Deliverables and Results
Working with Sales, Field Support, and Marketing, the deliverable was designed as an Executive Roundtable for a select group of up to 25 Chief HR Officers or equivalent for companies of 1000+ employees in the Boston area. This is no small challenges as these are some of the most sought after individuals. The title of the event which took place at the Harvard Club Downtown was Gender Equity is a Competitive Advantage. The presentation, delivered by Linkage’s top leadership consultant was based “just released” research on advancing women in leadership.
The room was over-booked and included the most senior level representation from Boston’s most significant companies. Invitations were extended to over 100 other companies – half of which were net new to the Linkage network. MarketingRecon prepared a blog post to summarize the event and share with invitees who could not make it in person. (There were nearly 300 reads of the post in the feed – many of relevant titles and companies). The event was also closely followed by a Webinar to touch on additional aspects of the research.
