At the time of engagement, TTI was a 30 year old private flavor house dedicated exclusively to all aspects of the tobacco flavoring business. TTI was founded by Duke Cassels-Smith in 1975 outside of Baltimore, Maryland, USA – the hub of the trade region and the heart of Maryland tobacco growing country. TTI’s familial heritage is a cornerstone of the company’s reputation. The assignments with TTI, over the course of six years, included the development of the value story, website, sales collateral, and ongoing marketing program development and oversight – the full marketing program from the ground up.
Business Growth Challenge
TTI is a mid-size tobacco flavor manufacturer currently selling and marketing its products worldwide. TTI has a very capable sales force and network of agents but no substantial advertising or marketing group. We realized we needed to organize and focus our advertising and corporate image. As a result, we contracted Jackie’s advisory services to guide us through the process.
Deliverables and Results
The Marketing and Sales Programs produced both new clients and partners for TTI and secured their place in the international market. During this period, revenues increased three fold and TTI was recognized in all the major trade publications.
