This past Tuesday, Gallagher hosted a first-class event at their new offices on Devonshire to reveal the highlights of its Workforce Trends Report emanating from the Annual Benefits Strategy & Benchmarking Survey. I was delighted to be able to attend. Certainly, they are demonstrating a commitment to their own employee base by moving into such a welcoming space – one that would win over anyone that was hesitant to come back to a formal office. Beside the impressive venue, the trends are revealing with HEALTH AND WELL-BEING STRATEGY showing up as number one in workforce strategy priorities for employees. Number three closely related – “increase access to and improve the culture around mental health programs.” Most of the benefits align with the challenges facing individuals and families in their daily life. Weight loss, financial coaching, lifestyle spending accounts, support for reproductive care – among others that reflect societal trends. No doubt the deep data behind these highlights are a must for HR executives. I enjoyed the vibrant and intelligent discussion with the Gallagher team and thank them for their generous hospitality!
